I need another vacation

Do you ever wish someone would come and take you away on a vacation? Just radomly pick someone, go on a nice cruise. Or just go someplace Far away. I'd love for someone to do that. But I feel I only dream of a vacation. My children really do not know what it's like to vacation. As a child, we went camping everywhere. We did Tons of traveling. All the way into Canada, since my mom is Canadian. Most of her family is still in Canada. I bet its been at least 15 years since I have seen My Grandma on my Mother's side. My job keeps me home, so I can't get away too much. Someday I hope to take my kids to DisneyLand, or DisneyWorld. I'd also love to go on a cruise...
Dream... Dream... Dream...

Swim Lessons

On monday my kids start swim lessons. Thomas doesn't like to get wet, so I'm kinda curious as to how he is going to react. Adam on the other hand is like a fish out of water, He loves the water. We got a small pool about 2 weeks ago, I can't keep him out of it.
I'm sure they will do well, I booked the kids lessons at the same time as my Neighbor has her kids in, So I'd have someone to sit and talk with. This is there first time in lessons, But i'm sure they'll do good.

My Grandma

Today Would have been my grandmothers 89th birthday. She was the sweetest lady anyone could have known. She Always had a smile on her face and Cookies in her cookie jar. She passed away in July of 2001, I was Pregnant with my second son.
She had Alzheimer's Disease. But not a very bad case. She was so cute, she'd say, Now isn't he yours? (meaning my oldest son.)He has such dark brown eyes.
My grandparents have quite a heritage. They had 10 kids, my father being #5, they have 62 grandkids (31 boys and 31 girls, I don't know how they managed that) and as of now they have 112 greatgrandkids, and the numbers keep going up. I love coming from a large family.
I miss my Grandma

My Birthday

This year for my Birthday I thought I'd do something exciting, so I took myself (and my baby) to VEGAS... We had an Awesome time. My sister Met us there with her Daughter too, Her daughter is old enough to baby sit so she stayed in the room with my baby, while my sister I went and played bingo. We had a great time, and I actually won. We also spent many hours at the slots. Oh and we also got all our meals free from the hotel we were staying at. The strip was Lots of fun and we also visited the M&M world. I spent way too much there to even talk about...
On our way home we visited the Hoover dam. It was SO hot, it was 105, I was so glad to get back into my airconditioned car.

That was One great Vacation.

Allergies

I went to see an allergist the other day. I have always had allergies, but they keep getting worse. So talking to some friends, I decided it was tome to go visit one.
The test was quite interesting. Not painful at all, but I’m glad it’s over with. Apparently I am allergic to
Trees: spring (march, April, May)
alder linden, ash, white maple, silver, aspen mulberry, birch, river oak, scrub, box elder olive, Russian cedar, mountain pfitzer, cottonwood sycamore, American elm, American tree of heaven elm, Siberian walnut, black juniper willow, black
Grasses: Summer (may, June, July)
Bermuda, timothy, Kentucky blue.

Weeds: Fall (July, August, Sept, Oct) alfalfa lambs quarters ragweed, western burning bush, pigweed Russian thistle, dock mix plantain
sagebrush mix, false ragweed rabbit brush scale mix giant marsh elder
molds: indoor and outdoor
other: Cat, horse, Doge, house dust mite, feathers
On top of all that, I have a mild case of asthma, which after thinking about it, explains a whole lot.
But who would have thought I could be allergic to so many things?

Teasing

Do you ever tease your kids?
I love to tease mine. Surprisingly they still fall for it every time. One of my favorite things to do is when they ask for something, like a piece of cake, I say, “Oh, I just ate the last piece” then of course they start to cry. I also like to hide from them. Am I mean?
One day my son came home from school on early day (age 7 at the time), he came and found me, acting surprised I said to him “Thomas, your teacher just called and said you left too early and need to go back to school.” Oh the look on his face was priceless.
But I still tease them as much as possible. He is starting to catch on and not believing every thing I say.

The Color of a Car

Do you think the color of your car has anything to do with your attitude?
Mood rings are suppose to show “how we feel”. Why not our cars? Obviously our car can’t change colors, but when you pick out your car, does the color mean anything?
My husband and I own 2 Toyota Corolla’s, one is blue, and the other is Black. He drives the Blue, I drive the black. The blue one is a 1998 and the Black one is a 2004. Our black car looks kind of sporty. One day I noticed someone had “keyed” our car. (They took their key and ran it down the one side of the car.) Did they do it because they thought it was some punk Kid who drives a sporty car? I’ll never know.
